- The president Byung Yong SOH and the party attended the 2nd extraordinary session of meeting of

  Intergovernmental Committee as an observer on February 18, 2008 held in Bulgaria(Sofia). This visit was for

  promoting WoMAU with a view to obtaining the status of an advisory NGO.

 

  The Entry scale was 3,000 participants from about 80 or more countries and from WoMAU, President of Martial Arts Union, deputy secretary-general and Chung-ju public officials. Only 26 of 241 NGO governments and parties are approved as observers and invited while WoMAU was the only one in the field of martial arts.

  WoMAU visiting group including the president Byung Yong SOH explained about WoMAU activities & requested upholding for an advisory NGO, by which WoMAU was favorably commented as an organization being the most aggressive and having the high vision. They also had an opportunity to promote Chung-ju World Martial Arts Festival by distributing Martial Arts Festival pictorial books and sightseeing.

  Meanwhile, they visited National Bulgarian Kempo Association on Feb. 17, 2008(Sun.) the day before the intergovernmental meeting (Feb. 18 ~ 22, 2008 (5days)) and on Feb. 23, 2008(Sat) had Excursion (Supervised by Bulgaria cultural department).
